Newsflash, The Islamic world does not respect us. On a beautiful Saturday September 11th morning many innocent Americans were murdered by Islamic extremists. The following Sunday morning I attended Sunday school for comfort among fellow Christians. We struggled to understand how any group of young men could be so influenced by their religion that they would attack and murder innocent people in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington.
One smug liberal said something I will never forget and never forgive. She said , “Well, my daughter works for the state department and she said the attack was America’s fault.” I was shocked that anyone could have this attitude. I did not understand the attitude then and still don’t understand.
When our president makes apologies to the Muslin people, I will never understand. I never heard a heartfelt apology from the people of Islamic nations who said they were sorry Islamic fanatics murdered Americans. I don’t understand why we need to apologize to them.
Perhaps Obama must know more about the Muslim values than I do, having attended a Indonesian Madras as a child, but the United states was attacked on 9/11. We did not declare war against Islam, Islam declared war against us.

While trying to understand the religion of peace, I have found many examples of Islamic tolerance, peace and justice. This following article from Islamic justice inflicted on a 17 year old girl accused of adultery tells more about Islam and it’s values than Obama could ever do.

Since 9/11, I’ve watched scores of grainy video films showing Islamist extremists doing what they do best–meting out barbaric punishment to adulterers, thieves and Jewish journalists, and murdering innocent people in Mumbai, Lahore and other places. Yet nothing I’d seen so far had prepared me for the stomach-churning experience I had on Saturday when I watched a two-minute clip of a bearded member of the Taliban–in Swat, Pakistan–flogging a 17-year-old girl who’d been accused of adultery.

We as a good and just country and owe no nation any apologies for anything that we may have done. In all the wars of the 20th century we could have kept the land that we won but we did not. After the wars were finished we gave the land back and helped rebuild the country. Maybe that smug liberal should be horsewhipped like this girl was then she might have a different attitude and come to realize that the world’s problems are not the fault of one nation but of all collectively.
